The Band led the parade from Cricklade Street to the Abbey Grounds at the start of the celebrations in Cirencester for Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen on 4 June 2012. Bandmaster Ian Hartnell wrote a fanfare, ‘A Royal Flourish’, which was played just before the parade set off and again on the Bandstand for the presentation of the Diamond Queen, Consort and Diamond Princesses to the assembled crowd. Following the pageant a crowd of over 3000 sang the the National Anthem, accompanied by the Band.

In 2012 the Band made a minor change to it’s name; it dropped the ‘The’ to become just ‘Cirencester Band.’

In November 2018 the Band took part in the commemorations marking the centenary of the end of the First World War, playing for the service at the War Memorial in the Market Place and for the parade that followed.

In 2019 the Band celebrated its own centenary with a series of concerts and other events. Most performances by the band during the year included a new march ‐‘The Centurion’ ‐ written by Ian Hartnell to mark the centenary of the Band.
