Each year, Cirencester Band can be heard at bandstands across the local area during the summer, while our popular Spring and Christmas concerts are highlights of the year. We also spread festive cheer by playing carols at many local locations throughout the Christmas season. Wherever we perform, our aim is always to bring people together through the joy of live brass music.
Remembrance in Cirencester

Cirencester Market Place
Cirencester Band has proudly played its part in the town’s annual Remembrance commemorations since 1919.
For many who gather, the occasion holds deep personal significance, offering an opportunity to remember those who served and sacrificed, and to reflect together as a community.
Organised by the Cirencester Branch of the Royal British Legion, the Band provides music as people gather and disperse, accompanies traditional hymns, and supports the parade with familiar marches.
The Band is also honoured to provide a cornet player to sound The Last Post during the Remembrance Sunday ceremony and again at 11:00am on 11 November, providing a poignant moment for Cirencester’s busy Market Place to pause and reflect. Band members also support Remembrance services and ceremonies across the county.
Christmas Cracker Concert

Our Christmas Concert is a festive highlight, filled with well-loved carols, seasonal classics, and joyful brass music to get everyone in the holiday spirit. From traditional favourites to sparkling arrangements, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season with family, friends, and the community. There will also be a retiring collection in aid of funds for Macmillan Cancer Support Gloucestershire.

Christmas Caroling
Each December, Cirencester Band can be found braving the cold to bring festive cheer to the town. As shoppers bustle through the streets, we keep spirits warm with the sound of traditional carols and Christmas favourites. It’s one of our favourite traditions, sharing music that adds a little extra sparkle to the season.

Our 2027 Spring Concert, Come Rain or Shine, celebrates the power and beauty of the weather through music. From dramatic storms and snowy landscapes to sunshine, rainbows and gentle summer skies, our varied programme explores the many moods of nature with something for everyone. Join Cirencester Band for an entertaining evening of brass music inspired by the world above us, whatever the forecast.
Bandstand Performances
During the summer months, we perform on a variety of bandstands throughout the surrounding area, often in beautiful local parks. Join us with a picnic and enjoy the relaxed outdoor atmosphere. For added comfort, feel free to bring a blanket or chair to sit back, relax, and enjoy the music.
