CIRENCESTER BAND
Membership
Our Main Band is open to anyone who can hold a part and wants to keep improving, while our Training Band is perfect for children, adult beginners, or those returning to their instrument after a break.
We can provide instruments and give advice on buying or hiring your own. To get started, just contact our secretary to arrange a visit to one of our rehearsals — and enjoy up to four no-obligation introductory sessions to see how much you like playing with us.
Rehearsals are held at Bingham House on Dyer Street in Cirencester. The main band meets on Fridays from 8:00 to 9:30 pm with beginner sessions from 7:00 to 8:45 pm during term time.
Message from the Bandmaster
Whether you’re joining a brass band for the first time or already have some experience, you’ll find a warm welcome in our band. We have lots of options to suit your level, so beginners can start with simple lines while more experienced players are given a challenge to help them improve. Most importantly, our aim is to enjoy making music together, building confidence in group playing, and growing musical skills along the way.
We’re always excited to meet new faces, so we look forward to welcoming you to an introductory rehearsal soon!
