Making music since 1919

Cirencester Band is a friendly community brass band that plays for the joy of making music together and sharing it with others. Our members span all ages and levels of experience, and we welcome anyone who enjoys playing or simply listening to brass music.

Founded in 1919, the band gave its first performance at Cirencester’s Armistice Parade. Since then, we’ve become part of the town’s musical life, from concerts and summer bandstand performances to spreading festive cheer with Christmas carolling. Over 100 years on, our aim remains the same: to bring people together through music and to keep the tradition of brass playing alive.
