2006 Bingham House a home for Cirencester Band
Updated: Sep 12
Today, Cirencester Band rehearses at Bingham House in Dyer Street, continuing a journey through rehearsal venues around Cirencester that stretches back to the Band’s foundation in 1919.

From the Temperance Hall in Thomas Street, through the Band’s association with Cecily Hill Barracks and its years at the Old Museum on Tetbury Road, each venue has played a part in the Band’s history.
Bingham House is the latest home in that story, providing a central Cirencester location where the Band can meet, rehearse and prepare for performances throughout the year.
More than a century after the first members gathered for Monday and Thursday evening rehearsals, Cirencester Band remains firmly rooted in the town in which it was founded.
