When refurbishment work at the Old Museum meant that Cirencester Band needed to find a new place to rehearse, a temporary home was found at the 1st Cirencester Scout Hut in Chesterton.
The Scout Hut provided the Band with rehearsal space for a short interim period while a longer-term home was sought, allowing regular rehearsals and Band activities to continue during the transition.
Although the stay was relatively brief, the Scout Hut forms another part of the Band’s journey through rehearsal venues in and around Cirencester and helped bridge the gap between the Old Museum and the Band’s next home.
