Cirencester Silver Band was a very strong contesting band taking part in many contests in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties as well as at Crystal Palace.
We have very little information about this period because the band secretary, fearful of invasion in the early years of the war, destroyed the bands records so they would not fall into enemy hands!
Bandmaster: G Churchman (1930‑39) Bandroom: Temperance Hall, Thomas Street (1930‑39)
